This Catholic publication challenges Protestants who claim to follow “sola Scriptura” (the Bible and the Bible only), but instead follow the tradition of the Catholic Church by observing the first day of the week (Sunday), rather than the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday). The Catholic Church readily acknowledges no scriptural basis exists for the transfer of worship from the biblical Sabbath to Sunday. This transference was instituted by Catholic tradition, based on what they believe is their arbitrary authority to change the Word of God.
