In this sermon produced by 3ABN, Kenny Shelton will share from the Bible a sermon about today’s society. He elaborates on how the difference between that which is common and that which is sacred have become blended to the point that most people no longer have a concept that there should be a gulf between the two. Little issue is made of living a life of sin and being a Christian. In this message, “Cursed or Blessed,” Pastor Kenny Shelton will look back into the time of the prophet, Balaam. Balaam was not an Israelite; yet, he had been given the knowledge of God and called to be a mouthpiece for God. But Balaam held on to just one sin—one sin that would ultimately cost the lives of many including his own! How about us today? As a majority, those calling themselves Christians think little of “holding” on to sin; even to the point of boastfulness. Can we hold on and love the sin of this world and still make Heaven our home as many apparently believe?
